The paperback is a double spread of 8.5″ (21.5 cm) square pages with a picture on the left and the writing on the right hand page.

The book is a quick bedtime read for a young child. It is easy for the reader with its bouncing rhyming verse and the beautiful illustrations are fun to look at especially if the child is too young to help with the reading. There is also a very short fun quiz at the end.
